Eddie Hicks
I have served in music ministry since 1985 and here as Minister of Music at First Baptist since November of 2003. Worship is my passion and my greatest desire is to see God's people experience His presence through our diverse music ministry. I received my education from Carson-Newman College and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
I am married to Pam Hicks our Church Music Associate and we have two wonderful children, Ashton and Perry.
I was born and raised in Hampton, VA. My favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6. Outside of my ministerial and vocational interests I enjoy being with my family, traveling, eating and yard work.
